Using 2Apply to apply for a Rental Property

2Apply is one of the most popular online application methods in the Melbourne rental market. It’s an online rental application form that you only have to fill in once - but can be used to apply for all of the rental properties that you like.

Here’s a simple guide to completing your 2Apply rental application.

Step 1

Log on to www.2apply.com.au and if you’re a new user you’ll need to create a new account. If you’ve used the site before, then log in.

Step 2

Start to input all of your information into the online form. This will ask you questions about your current living and working arrangements and you'll be able to attach supporting documents as well as provide some references.

Step 3

Make sure you attach all of the relevant ID and supporting documents. This could include:

  • Drivers Licence
  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate
  • Bank Statements
  • Payslips
  • Any other documents you think will help you stand out from the other applicants

When attaching your documents, make sure they’re high resolution colour copies that are easy to read.

Step 4

If you’re a couple or friends that are applying for the property together, you’ll both need to complete your own 2Apply application form. You’ll have the ability to link the applications so when it sends through to the Property Manager, it’s received and processed as one document.

Step 5

Once you see the property you like, or Rental Inspect inspects the property on your behalf, you’ll be able to quickly and easily apply for the property.
